What will Databricks or Snowflake cost each month?
Estimate compute and storage from your workloads. Prices are typical public list prices and fully editable; everything runs in your browser.
Defaults are typical public list prices (Databricks on AWS, Premium tier; Snowflake on-demand in US regions) and change over time. Check the current Databricks pricing and Snowflake pricing for your cloud, region and contract. This is a planning estimate, not a quote.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this estimate?
It multiplies usage by list prices, so it is a planning estimate, not a quote. Real bills depend on your cloud, region, contract discounts, how long compute actually runs, auto-suspend settings and, for classic Databricks compute, the separate cloud VM cost. Check current prices on the Databricks and Snowflake pricing pages.
Why is Databricks compute shown without cloud VM costs?
On classic (non-serverless) Databricks compute you pay Databricks for DBUs and your cloud provider for the virtual machines separately. Serverless SQL warehouses and serverless compute include the infrastructure in the DBU price. Add your expected VM cost in the extra cost field for classic compute.
What usually drives the bill?
Compute left running: interactive clusters and warehouses without auto-termination or auto-suspend, oversized warehouses, and scheduled work on interactive compute instead of job compute. Our guide to where data platform costs hide lists twelve places to look.
